Fitbit, a renowned wearables brand launched its Fitbit Ionic Smartwatch, Fitbit Flyer Wireless Headphones and Fitbit Aria 2 Wi-Fi Smart Scale in India. All three products will be available across various online stores starting February 2018.
The Fitbit Ionic comes with a price tag of Rs. 22,990, the Flyer wireless headphones comes with a price tag of Rs. 9,990 and the Aria smart scale comes with a price tag of Rs. 9,990.
Fitbit Ionic Smartwatch
Fitbit Ionic sports a uni-body watchcase which is made using the nano-moulding technology. It is also the first device to feature the SpO2 sensor which can track diseases like Sleep Apnea by calculating the oxygen levels in the blood.
Other than that, Fitbit Ionic Smartwatch is loaded with features like heart rate tracking, 50-metre water resistance, GPS and Fitbit Pay. Moreover, the smartwatch runs on its own custom OS called the Fitbit OS.
The smartwatch comes with onboard music, smart notifications and clock faces in the Fitbit gallery. Additionally, the gallery offers users a range of health and fitness apps like Fitbit Coach, Timer, Relax, Exercise and much more. Fitbit Ionic also comes with pre-installed third-party apps like Starbucks, AccuWeather, Pandora and Strava.
The company claims that the latest smartwatch can last on a battery life of up to 5 days with automatic activity and sleep tracking features. And lastly, Fitbit Ionic will be available in three colour combinations. The combinations being: silver grey tracker and clasp with a blue-grey band, burnt orange tracker and clasp with a slate blue band and smoke grey tracker and clasp with a charcoal band.
Fitbit Flyer Wireless Headphones
The Fitbit Flyer is the company’s first wireless headphones that sports a sweatproof design and music & call controls. On the battery front, the wireless headphones can deliver a battery life of up to 6 hours on a single full charge. The headphone also features a quick-charge mode which gives the device one hour of battery backup with 15 minutes charge.
Fitbit Flyer can be paired with two devices at the same time and automatically pairs with the Fitbit Ionic Smartwatch. It also features an advanced sound performance for an immersive audio experience.
Fitbit Aria 2
Fitbit has also launched it’s Aria 2 smart scale along with the smartwatch and wireless headphones in India. The smart scale can be easily connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth connectivity. It is designed for measuring body composition indicators like lean mass, body fat percentage, BMI and weight. All the stats directly get updated to the Fitbit dashboard for the user to keep a check on. The smart scale can support eight different users.
