Dell XPS 13 Laptop with Bezel-Less Display Launched in India

On Monday, Dell, the renowned laptop brand launched a new laptop “XPS 13” in India. The laptop is the latest version of the XPS 13 series laptops and it features a bezel-less display. The price for Dell XPS 13 starts at Rs. 84,590 and is currently available only in select stores in the country.

The main highlight of this laptop is the bezel-less ‘InfinityEdge’ touch display, which is available in multi-touch and QHD+ options. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass with a 5.2mm bezel on the top and both the sides. Because of the bezel-less design, an 11-inch laptop has been maximized to a screen space of 13.3-inch.

Dell XPS 13 comes with IPS wide-viewing angles which allow the users to take benefits of 170-degree views on a 400-nit screen. The laptop is made out of aluminium which gives it a premium look. And the palm is made of carbon fibre. The laptop weighs around 1.2kg making it extremely lightweight and sleek with dimensions of 9-15 x 304 x 200 mm.

The Dell XPS 13 laptop runs on Windows 10 pro. It sports 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD storage along with a 60 Watt-Hours battery. Furthermore, the laptop is powered by 8th-generation Intel processors and allows enhanced CPU performance while ensuring that the laptop’s temperature is maintained.

Moreover, the XPS 13 laptop sports a new ‘Thunderbolt 3’ port for connectivity. This port is the latest generation of Type-C connectivity which enables up to 8x transfer speed. While for other connectivity options, the laptop sports an SD card reader, two USB ports, and a 3.5mm headset jack.

Additionally, users are entitled to a 12-month McAfee LiveSafe subscription with the purchase of this laptop. For one thing the new XPS 13 laptop is definitely going to give a tough competition to the other list of Dell laptops in India.

According to a report at BGR India, “Dynamic Power Mode”, engineered by Dell, delivers extra processing power, while intelligently monitoring and managing system temperatures. “The mode with new 8th generation processors delivers up to 44 percent improved performance over 7th gen processors,” the company said.
