BlackBerry’s Next Android Devices to Be Launched Soon

The struggling tech company in the consumer space, Blackberry has officially announced the discontinuation of BlackBerry Classic’s to pave a Way for State of the Art Devices. BlackBerry has declared that it will no longer manufacture the BlackBerry Classic phone range. Now BlackBerry is all set to give their phones a taste of Android again with the launch of three new devices – Named Neon, Argon and Mercury. However, whether the devices shall run Android N or Android Marshmallow is still unclear.

Their first Android Smartphone – ‘Blackberry Priv’ was a great effort. However, it did not didn’t fancy the Indian customers because of the high pricing. The three new BlackBerry Mobile Phones will be manufactured by TCL’s recently acquired company, Alacatel.

BlackBerry Neon
BlackBerry Neon will be a mid-range featuring 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The phone is said to be powered by a 2,610 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0. The device will sport a 13 megapixel primary camera and an 8 megapixel front shooter for selfies.

BlackBerry Argon
The BB Argon will feature a 5.5 inch QHD screen and run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU with  4GB RAM with 32GB storage. The BB Argon is will have a 3,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support. The super phone will have a finger print scanner feature as well as a USB Type-C charging port. As far as cameras are concerned, the device boasts of 21 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel selfie camera on the front.

BlackBerry Mercury
BlackBerry Mercury will have a 4.5 inch screen. The device would run Snapdragon 625 CPU with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage capacity. Mercury will be powered by a 3,400mAh battery and offer an 18MP/8MP setup for the respective rear and front cameras. Unlike the BB Priv, BB Mercury will support a physical QWERTY keyboard.
