Asus has recently released a slew of smartphones at an event in Taiwan. The company has launched the Asus Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 4 Pro during the event. The company also revealed the Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie and Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro that was spotted on the company site last week.
The Asus Zenfone 4 Max and Zenfone 4 Max Pro were also launched along with these smartphones. However, the Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 4 Pro were the highlights of the event.
Coming to the pricing, the Asus Zenfone 4 will start a price of $399 (roughly Rs 25,500) and the Zenfone 4 Pro will cost $599 (roughly Rs 38,500). Secondly, the Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie and Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro will be priced at $279 (roughly Rs 17,900) and $379 (roughly Rs 24,300) respectively.
Asus Zenfone 4, Asus Zenfone 4 Pro: Design
The Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 4 Pro are the dual-SIM mobiles built on an aluminium unibody design language with diamond-cut metal edges. There is a fingerprint scanner present on the physical home button of the device at front.

The only notable difference between these two smartphones rests in its rear. The camera module on Zenfone 4 Pro is slightly more overlaying than Zenfone 4. Also, the Pro model offers a glossy finish to its metal body.
Asus Zenfone 4, Asus Zenfone 4 Pro: Specifications
Both the smartphones features 5.5-inch displays. The Zenfone 4 Pro is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

On the other hand, the Zenfone 4 is offered in two variants- one with Snapdragon 630 SoC and another with Snapdragon 660 SoC. Both models have 6GB of RAM. The phones are powered by 3300mAh and 3600mAh battery respectively.
For photography, both smartphones will offer a dual rear camera module comprising a primary 12MP Sony IMX362 DualPixel image sensor. The secondary rear camera sensor of the Zenfone 4 offers 8MP sensor, whereas the Zenfone 4 Pro goes with a 16MP Sony IMX351 sensor with 2X optical zoom capability.
The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The sensor on board includes a gyroscope, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and digital compass.
