Apple and Nike have jointly introduced the Apple Watch Nike+ smartwatch which is an elite wearable tool for runners. The smartwatch is a combination of Nike Sport Bands with the Apple Watch Series 2 smartwatch. The Apple Watch Nike+ offers a dual-core processor, GPS, 2x brighter display, water resistance, and watchOS 3.
The upcoming Apple Watch Nike+ features the built-in GPS, distance to route and other function like all other models in Apple Watch Series 2. The display of smartwatch is considered as the brightest display Apple has ever made as the result of which the metrics on smartwatch are easy to read even in sun’s glare. The Nike Watch Faces features the iconic Volt color of Nike’s with boldly displaying the time in digital as well as analog styles.
The Apple Watch Nike+ also features the water resistance up to 50 meters which allow users to take a post-run dip in the pool. The Nike Sport band is made from the strong and flexible fluoroelastomer which was earlier used in Apple Watch Sport Band, but with the Apple Watch Nike+, even superior ventilation, and sweat management is provided.
Apple has introduced exclusive SIRI commands and the new Nike+ Run Club app in Apple Watch Nike+. The Nike+ Run Club app is easily accessible from watch face which offers daily motivation from its smart run reminders, weather alerts, and challenges from friends. The training data is available at a glance which includes pace, heart rate and distance details with its shared run summaries.
The Apple Watch Nike+ is made available in two different sizes, 38mm and 42mm aluminum cases. The smartwatch is available in four exclusive Nike Sport Band color combinations including Black/Cool Gray, Black/Volt, Flat Silver/White and Flat Silver/Volt. The cost of 38mm model will be at $369 (roughly Rs 24750) while the 42mm model would cost $399 (roughly Rs 26760).
The pre-orders for Apple Watch Nike+ will start from September 23 on Apple’s official website. The smartwatches will be available for sale in late October.
