Apple has unveiled its latest iMac Pro all-in-one (AIO) workstation and is already up for sale in the US market. The company has now announced the India pricing details of the AIO desktop and mentioned that it will be launched soon in India. It is worth mentioning that only the base model of iMac Pro will be released in India at first.
Coming to the pricing, the Apple iMac Pro will be priced at Rs 4,15,000 in India. In the US market, the company has launched multiple models of the device. The base model prices starts at $4,999 (roughly Rs 3,20,500) and it goes up to $13,199 (roughly Rs 8,46,500) for the top-notch variant.
The base model packs an 8-core Intel Xeon processor, whereas the top-end model comes with the 18-core processor.
Apple iMac Pro All-in-one Desktops: Specifications
The latest iMac Pro model that is coming to the Indian market will be priced at Rs 4,15,000. The desktop comes with a 27-inch Retina 5K (2880×5120 pixels) display with a brightness of 500nits and a wide-colour gamut. Under the chassis, there is a 3.2GHz Intel Xeon W octa-core processor which is claimed to clocks up to maximum speed of 4.2GHz. The CPU can handle 19MB of cache.
Furthermore, the laptop utilises an 8GB HBM2 Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics card paired with 32GB of DDR4 ECC RAM of 2666MHz. The desktop has a 1TB of storage in SSD format. This will ensure powerful performance for regular as well as intense computing situations.
The Apple iMac Pro has a FaceTime HD camera which is ideal for video calling. On the connectivity front, there is an Ethernet port, four Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C ports, four USB Type-A ports, four microphones, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an SDXC card slot. The wireless connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features.
The Apple iMac Pro will be offered with Space Gray Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse 2. In addition, the package will also include a Lightning to USB cable. The device measures dimensions at 650x516x203mm and weighs 9.7 kg.
