The Xiaomi Redmi 5A is certainly not a big upgrade over its predecessor. Moreover, some features of the Redmi 4A have been downgraded on the Redmi 5A. For instance, the battery capacity of the device is decreased from the predecessor. Still, the company’s claim for 8-days battery life is convivial. Also, there is no fingerprint scanner on the device which is a regular feature in most of the budget mobiles in India.
