Xiaomi Mi 5
The phone which appeared to be a decent buy now seems to be nothing more than a cheap Chinese knock off flagship pretender.
With increased competition from the 3T and now OnePlus 5, the phone fails to make a mark in a segment that is flooded with great options. Xiaomi Mi 5 has a 5.15 inch- Full HD display, 3GB (LPDDR4) RAM and 32GB storage paired with a Snapdragon 820. The specifications are not worthy of a true flagship phone.

Xperia XZ Dual
This phone promises a lot but delivers very little. The decent specifications of this phone somehow fail to translate to above par performance. The phone is cut out for clicking beautiful pictures with a 23MP primary camera and triple- sensing technology, 5 Axis image stabilisation, and 13MP Exmor front camera snapper. But it does nothing as mentioned. The camera performance is average. It also has a full HD 1080p display. Along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit SoC and 64GB of storage with 3GB of RAM. However, the price for which it was launched at makes it slightly expensive for a phone.
iPhone SE
The phone has below par specs namely Dual-Core 1.8GHz Apple A9, 4-inch display running at 1136X640 pixels and storage options of 32/128GB. At a price of Rs.35, 000 for the 128GB variant, the smartphone represents a poor value for money at a time when you can easily buy a phone with Octa-core CPU and over 6GB RAM for the same amount of money.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7
Do not spend your hard money on the phone notorious for overheating and exploding. It has industry-leading specs and beautiful design but it is a poor investment because of its battery issues. Although Galaxy Note 7 was launched in 2016, the damages in terms of reputation and loss in sales affected the company this year.
Based on the detail investigation and independent analysis Samsung declared that overheating was caused by different problems in batteries sourced from two different suppliers. Even after several assurances regarding the fixing of faults in the later batches of the phone. However, nothing can save Note 7 going out in an inglorious blaze.
Nokia 3310
The phone comes with many pre-installed apps. But the lack of support of Nokia to the popular apps like Whatsapp, Facebook and Twitter have crippled the chances of success for the phone. The lack of 4G and Wi-Fi and a small display contribute to the phone not being a great deal.
