As expected, Oppo has released its selfie-centric smartphone called as the Oppo F3 Plus in India for a price of Rs 30,990. Oppo mobiles have a range of ‘Selfie Expert’ smartphones in its line-up which offers amazing selfie camera features.
The newly launched Oppo F3 Plus will be up for pre-orders from March 23 to March 31 across the leading online platforms like Snapdeal, Flipkart, Amazon, and others. The smartphone will be available for regular sale from April 1.
The Oppo F3 Plus smartphone offers a 6-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) smartphone with 480ppi pixel density. The smartphone come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and external storage up to 256GB via microSD card. The handset runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS with company’s custom ColorOS 3.0 on top.
The USP of Oppo F3 Plus is its dual front camera setup which includes 16MP+8MP sensors with a flash module. In addition, it has a 120-degree wide-angle lens and company’s Beautify software for enhanced selfie experience. Also, the smartphone offers a 16MP primary rear camera with flash.
The Oppo F3 Plus is powered by a 4000mAh battery. The handset measures dimensions at 163.63×8.0x7.35mm and weighs 185 grams.

Looking at the selfie features of Oppo F3 Plus, it will compete directly with Vivo V5 Plus which boasts dual front camera module as well. The Vivo V5 Plus includes 20MP+8MP sensors on the front. It has a 5.5-inch display and is priced at Rs 27,980 in India.
Furthermore, the Oppo F3 Plus will compete with the premium smartphone range, especially with the mid-premium flagships. The current flagship killer smartphone, OnePlus 3T is another rival for Oppo F3 Plus which features a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The OnePlus 3T 64GB storage variant costs Rs 29,999.
Under Oppo’s selfie expert range, there are Oppo F1s and Oppo F1 Plus smartphones which have witnessed appreciation among the users.
Moreover, Oppo has witnessed a growth in market share in India. As per an IDC report, Oppo is among the top five smartphone brands in India below Samsung, Xiaomi, and Lenovo.
