The Chinese OEM, Xiaomi has made an impact on the Indian smartphone market, especially in the budget mobiles segment. But the company seems to be geared up for the game-changing plan by introducing an upcoming mobile, the Mi Note 2. Although Xiaomi hasn’t put a word on the release on the Mi Note 2, the rumors and reports about the device have arrived.
According to several reports, a popular Chinese analyst Pan Juitang has claimed that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be priced at 4,000 Yuan which roughly indicates Rs 39,800. If the predictions are to be believed, then the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 could be the most expensive smartphone device from the company.
Recently, Xiaomi Mobiles had launched the upgraded versions of its Mi 5 smartphone as- Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus. The key highlight of the upcoming mobile, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is its dual curved edge AMOLED display which was recently seen in Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. The smartphone is also expected to come equipped with a powerful chipset. The expectancy for the release of Mi Note 2 has increased when CEO Lei Jun said that the mass production of the upcoming Mi Note 2 smartphone has already begun.
If the rumors are to be believed, the device will feature a 5.5- or 5.7-inch qHD (1440×2560 pixels) Super AMOLED dual-edge curved display. It could offer a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor coupled with the Adreno 530 GPU. It is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and with three storage options such as – 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. It is expected to run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow or the latest Nougat OS.
The upcoming mobile is expected to offer a dual-camera setup at the rear side of the device. It will feature two 16-megapixels sensors with the ClearSight technology. The front panel of the device is expected to offer a 5MP snapper. In addition, the device is supposed to feature a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The connectivity options will include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, NFC, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
