Samsung has introduced two new smartphones to its budget J series of smartphones in India. The two new Samsung smartphones namely Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus and Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus are reported to make their debut on 24 September 2018, in India. Though Samsung has revealed the launch date of the smartphones, the company is yet to reveal the pricing for both the phones.
However, as most of the smartphones from the J series fit the budget segment, we can even expect these upcoming smartphones to fit an affordable price range. Here are some of the revealed features and specifications of both the smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus, Galaxy J6 Plus: Specifications
According to reports, both Galaxy J4 Plus and Galaxy J6 Plus will come with an Infinity Display. Interestingly, breaking away from the trend of rear-mounted fingerprint sensors, both the upcoming Samsung smartphones from the Samsung mobile price list will come with side-mounted fingerprint sensors. As the placement of the fingerprint sensor has been moved to the side, it is expected that the sensor will be embedded into the power button.
Furthermore, other reports state that the Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus smartphone will feature a 13-megapixel camera on the rear panel and a 5-megapixel camera on the front panel. On the other hand, Galaxy J6 Plus will come with a dual camera setup on the rear panel. The setup will include a 13-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor. On the front, the smartphone will feature a single 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling.
Both the smartphones are rumoured to come with the new AR Emoji feature that was launched with the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones. Other rumoured specifications of the smartphones state that the Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus will feature 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Similarly, Galaxy J6 Plus is expected to come with 4GB RAM (storage specifications not revealed). Both the smartphones will be offered in colour variations like Black, White, Grey and Red.
