Honor MagicBook: Brand’s First Laptop to Debut on April 19

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has introduced us to some amazing premium devices with the latest innovation and technology. The brand is now all set to dip its toes in the laptop segment with the debut of its first-ever laptop. The company’s first laptop known as Honor MagicBook is expected to launch on April 19, this year.

According to speculations, the upcoming laptop will make its debut along with the Honor 10 smartphone. Correspondingly, Huawei is known for launching smartphones and wearables with the latest innovations in an affordable price range. The company is planning on applying the same strategy for its laptops as well.

Honor had first introduced its upcoming laptop as a video earlier this month. However, the video was theorized to be nothing but an April Fool’s Day joke. Nevertheless, Honor has confirmed the launch of its Honor MagicBook laptop on its Weibo channel.

As per the video that the company had unveiled, the MagicBook laptop is most likely to come with thin bezels and a slim design which will make it similar to Huawei Matebook X Pro. These design aspects have again been confirmed as per the report on Weibo. The Honor MagicBook is going to a refreshing change compared to the laptops available in the market currently.

As of now, no clear specifications of the laptop have been revealed. However, we can expect some of the basic specifications such as the latest processor and memory configurations to boot. As for the price, we cannot expect a laptop that will be extremely cheap. But we can certainly expect a laptop that will be affordable compared to products from other brands such as Apple, Dell, HP and more.

Additionally, the biggest competitor for Honor MagicBook in the market will be the latest Xiaomi Mi laptops. Xiaomi has made its name in the electronics market for designing products that are easy on the pockets. Moreover, reports also state that the company has partnered with Qualcomm to introduce its Honor MagicBook as an ‘always connected PC’.
